Green Noise is an informal label for broadband sound shaped toward the middle frequencies. There is no single universally agreed spectrum, so different generators can sound noticeably different.
Rain-like or nature-like describes the tonal impression of this generated sound. These presets are synthesized noise, not recordings of rain, rivers, wind, or waterfalls.
